Albany Park Community Center (APCC), located at 1945 West Wilson Ave., Suite 3000, Chicago, IL., has a career resource center available for individuals in pursuit of employment in their Workforce Development Program. Their multitude of career workshops and resources assists individuals with preparing for and obtaining the job or career that the individual is pursuing. APCC also helps individuals brush up on their computer skills via APCC’s Community Technology Center classes. So if you wanted to learn that new Microsoft program or improve your typing skills, APCC has that available for you!
APCC also offers adult education classes that allow individuals to improve their basic English vocabulary and grammar skills. Funded by the Illinois Community College Board, APCC has these ESL courses available morning, evening and even on weekends! APCC also offers assistance in continuing education. This organization offers GED and ABE courses during multiple times during the week and weekend.
The best part about APCC is that these services are free! They are here to serve and improve the well-being of the community, so all the services offered are funded by private and public resources.
